The 10-fold-way classifications of non-interacting topological insulators and superconductors (TI/TS) are well-established using free-fermion band theory. It is important and challenging to generalize these results to strongly correlated electronic systems. In this talk, I will show that the interacting counterparts of TI/TS can be obtained from domain wall decorations. As an example, I will present an explicit exactly-solvable commuting-projector model for 2D interacting topological insulator with charge conservation and time reversal symmetries on a triangular lattice. In general, we developed a sophisticated general group super-cohomology theory for the lattice constructions and classifications of fermionic symmetry-protected topological phases for arbitrary symmetry groups.
Dr. Qing-Rui Wang obtained his PhD degree from Institute for Advanced Study, Tsinghua University under the supervision of Prof. Zheng-Yu Weng in 2016. Then he moved to the Chinese University of Hong Kong as a postdoctoral fellowship, working with Prof. Zheng-Cheng Gu. From 2019 until now, he is working as a postdoctoral associate with Prof. Meng Cheng at Yale University. His current research interests lie in strongly correlated systems and mathematical physics.
